STORAGE

As a premier US-based petroleum tank farm storage company, Colonial Storage Holdings LLC has established a strong network of partners in Europe to meet the growing demand for petroleum and petrochemical products. Our one-stop service approach, with a presence in 17 countries, guarantees a steady global supply.

By storing by-products, refined petroleum, petrochemical products, raw materials, equipment, and other essential utilities for the oil and gas industry, we play a vital role in the supply chain. Our tank farms ensure the quality of stored products and contribute to the sustainable use of natural resources and environmental protection.

Colonial Storage Holdings LLC's storage terminals are carefully designed and maintained to minimize community impact. Our secure, fenced terminals are equipped with lighting for safety while reducing disturbance to neighbors. These facilities are regulated for pipeline safety as part of an interstate transportation system.

Our storage terminals support the efficient and safe delivery of petroleum products to refineries, tankers, vessels, and other clients. Pipeline safety inspectors ensure compliance with regulations. Our above-ground storage tanks, built with premium steel plates, meet federal codes and national standards, designed to suit their size, environment, and product requirements.

Colonial Storage Holdings LLC operates a diverse network of storage terminals, ranging from small gathering sites to expansive corporate storage units, strategically located in Houston, Canada, Rotterdam, and boasts the world's largest terminal. Our tanks vary in size, with heights ranging from 40 to 60 feet and diameters from 150 to 270 feet, accommodating between 575,000 and 5,000,000 barrels of petroleum products. The specific tank size is tailored to meet the design requirements of our pipeline and refinery customers.

Floating roofs on our storage tanks feature dual sealing systems to prevent vapor emissions and minimize ignition hazards.

Advanced technology, including radar for tank level monitoring and mixers, ensures product integrity during breakout storage.

New tanks undergo rigorous testing, including hydrostatic testing to check for leaks before being used. Cathodic protection safeguards against corrosion during operation, and grounding measures prevent static electricity buildup and redirect lightning strikes. Our facilities are regularly monitored, inspected, and maintained, with trained personnel conducting monthly visual inspections of each tank and annual comprehensive inspections.

Houston and Rotterdam are key to our global operations. Our Rotterdam terminal, located in Europe's largest port, offers ample storage capacity and direct access to European markets. In Houston, our storage site benefits from the port's extensive logistics network, efficiently serving the North American market. Both locations feature modern infrastructure, capable of handling large volumes while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
